The Help + Info section can be used to provide site visitors with information about using the site, shopping, company details, etc. (eg, instructions for buying online, about us, company location(s), returns and payments policies, shipping info).

1. Manage Help + Info content

To enter, edit or delete help + info content:

Click >help + info on the main Shop Admin menu (under the ?Appearance & Setup? section)

This opens a free-text window. Simply enter or edit copy as with a normal document and use the text editor at the top of the window to add bold, italic, page links, etc, as required.

NOTE: Content can also be pasted into the text window. This enables content to be formatted and edited as a normal document (eg, using Word) and simply copied to the site.

Administrators with HTML knowledge can also directly edit the HTML tags by selecting the < > button of the text editor. (eg, use this to add colour to the text).

NOTE: Content entered into the help + info section will appear as a single scrolling page on the site. It is recommended that bold headings be used to clearly define each section of information and that content is kept to a minimum.

Click >Save to save the content

Click >Cancel to start again
NOTE: When editing existing content, clicking >Cancel will revert the content to the last saved version.
