Why is it that I can't shake this damn skateboarding addiction?
And more to the point, do I really want to??
Vancouver was 'the hot spot' for skateboarding in the mid-to-late 90s, thanks mainly to the fresh spots, lax security and some hot crew coming up. Well the downtown is now almost completely a bust (where not skate-stoppered) and security get antsy at the sound of urethane on concrete, but i'll be damned if it doesnt have the most varied skateparks all within an hours drive of the city. Having the mountains nearby just nearby means that transition rules, and well I'm bowing to that king...
